Grisham Back on TrackA couple of the more recent Grisham novels have been lacking but this one is solid。 Strong emotion， strong courtroom drama， and a strongly developed town of characters。 I sometimes find Jake and Carla to be a bit whiny but I still root for them。 I will continue to read from this series of books if another comes out。

The opening sequence shows why John Grisham is a master story teller。 The way he describes how the car and its headlights approaching the home via along winding driveway is rich in atmosphere。 while I enjoyed the rest of the novel I did come away with disappointment。 There were three subplots within that novel that never fully developed， leading me to believe that the basis of the novel was simply a bridge to probably three related sequels。

Audiobook。 John Grisham is obviously a great writer but his audiobooks narrated by Michael Beck are outstanding。 I honestly think he could narrate the dictionary and make it interesting。
